A little about the person behind the psychiatrist.
PERSONAL
I grew up in rural India before completing my medical training and moving to Australia in 2003. Living and working across different cultures and communities has shaped my appreciation of the many personal, family and social experiences that influence mental health.
Today, I live in North Brisbane with my wife and daughter. Outside my clinical work, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, playing cricket and following the game whenever I can.
I have always believed that conversations can change lives. This is one of the reasons I support initiatives that encourage people to speak more openly about mental health. I am proud to support TradeMutt, whose mission is to make conversations about mental health more visible and more accessible within our communities.
Above all, I consider it a privilege to be invited into people’s lives during difficult times. Every person brings a unique story, and it is through understanding that story that meaningful therapeutic work begins.
